Chompions ("Chompions", "we", "us") is a phone-first calorie tracker where consistency is a sport. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we handle it, and the choices you have. We built Chompions so that your body stats are never shown to other people and your data is never sold.

We collect only what the app needs to work. You provide most of it directly; some is generated as you use the app; some is read from Apple Health / Google Health Connect with your permission.
We do not collect precise location, and Chompions is free with no ads and no advertising identifiers.
We rely on your consent (Health access, notifications), on performing our contract with you (running the app), and on our legitimate interest in a secure, fair service.
Health data receives special care:
We never sell your data and don't share it for advertising. We use a small set of service providers who process data only to run Chompions on our behalf:

These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
Leagues are social, but your body stats never are. Other players only ever see your username, avatar, points, tier, and rank. Weight, calories, and measurements are never exposed to anyone else.
GET /v1/me/export).Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. Email privacy@chompions.app and we'll honor them.
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove or irreversibly anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal obligations.
Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to what's needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Chompions is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
We operate the service from, and may process data in, countries that may differ from yours. We take steps to protect your data consistent with this policy wherever it's processed.
We'll update this policy as the app evolves and revise the "last updated" date. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
