Welcome to Chompions. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Chompions.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding agreement. If you use Chompions on behalf of someone else, you confirm you're authorized to do so.
Chompions helps you log food, track calories and activity, and stay consistent through points, streaks, and friendly weekly leagues. Calorie budgets, forecasts, and earned-back calories are estimates for guidance only and may not be accurate for you.
Leagues are meant to be fun and fair. Don't manipulate points, falsify logs, use bots, or create accounts to game the standings. We may adjust standings, or suspend accounts, to protect the integrity of the game. We never penalize you for eating enough or for taking care of your health.
Don't misuse the service: no illegal activity, no interfering with or attacking our systems, no attempting to access others' accounts or data, and no harassing other players.
Your logs and data are yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process them to provide the service (see the Privacy Policy). You're responsible for the content you submit.
Chompions, its name, design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don't grant you rights to our branding or code beyond using the app as intended.
Chompions works with third parties (e.g. app stores, Apple Health / Google Health Connect, food-data and infrastructure providers). Your use of those may be subject to their own terms.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that estimates are accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chompions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any health outcomes arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
You can stop using Chompions and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date and surface material changes in the app. Continuing to use Chompions means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction we operate in (to be finalized before launch), without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
